how do you make art with this high quality only be 200kb? please tell me, im kinda curious

i think the main thing is that flat colours compress really well. if you have lots of fine detail, small patterns or colour gradients then it won't be able to compress those and you'll end up with a larger file. the only gradient i used on this is on the blue in the back, so it came out real small.
